Pathan Movie Review: Shahrukh Khan's Action-Packed Comeback

 Pathan is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner.  It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham with Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana and Jackie Shroff in supporting roles.  The film is based on Pathan, a former Indian Army officer, who is now a secret agent on a mission to stop a terrorist attack.

Pathan released on 25 January 2023 and was a commercial success, grossing over ₹1,000 crore (US$130 million) worldwide.  The film received mixed reviews from critics, praising Khan's performance and the action sequences, but criticizing the plot and the length of the film.
